Vlieseline Quickscreen Square is a thin, non-woven interlining with a printed grid of 1 x 1cm squares. It is very useful for creating patchwork blocks with straight lines and rectangular figures, such as Log Cabin, Basket Weave or Boxed Square. It is also ideal for copying, enlarging or reducing motifs. The interlining remains after sewing and therefore provides an extra layer of thin reinforcement. Suitable for all fabrics. This interlining is made from 60% thermoplastic polyester (PES), 20% cellulose and 20% rayon and is washable up to 40ᵒC. Available in white with blue print. Vlieseline Quickscreen Square is 90cm wide.

VLIESELINE QUICKSCREEN SQUARE

Cut a fabric square and fabric strips in various sizes as well as the Quickscreen Square in the desired size. Position the fabric square centrally on the unprinted reverse side of the Quickscreen with the right side facing up. Lay the fabric strips on the square, right side to right side, and secure with pins across both ends of the fabric strips. Turn the piece and sew the figures together along the pre-printed line on the interlining. Turn the piece back around, trim them if necessary and pin another figure to it. Continue this way until the entire Quickscreen Square piece is covered.
